Position Overview: Bar & Bottle Store Manager
Become a key player in our lively team at an upscale boutique bar and bottle store located right in the center of Alphington, VIC 3078. We pride ourselves on providing outstanding experiences for our customers, with a remarkable array of high-quality wines, spirits, and craft beers to choose from.
A cheerful and engaging personality is essential! We cater to a diverse group of local patrons who appreciate not just a good drink but also a friendly conversation.
In this role, you’ll be busy serving takeaway beverages, crafting delicious cocktails (our customers adore them!), and actively promoting our venue within the community. This is your chance to leave your personal touch on our establishment and shape the future of our business.

Key Responsibilities:
* Serve a broad selection of drinks, featuring wines, spirits, and artisanal beers, focusing on both quality and presentation.
* Engage with customers in a warm and knowledgeable way, offering suggestions to enrich their overall experience.
* Keep the shop tidy and well-organized, ensuring all equipment functions correctly.
* Handle sales transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
* Stay updated on current beverage trends and product information to assist customers effectively.
* Open and close the venue following established procedures.
Qualifications:
* Demonstrated experience in a high-end hospitality setting, preferably with bar experience, as we plan to transition to a wine bar in the future.
* Strong understanding of wines, spirits, and craft beers.
* Excellent communication skills and a commitment to outstanding customer service.
* Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification is required.
* WSET or similar qualifications are preferred but not mandatory.
* Attention to detail and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional service.

Salary: $30.00 – $40.21 per hour
